Purchasing with a Deposit
Original art can be a big purchase. If you would like to purchase an original painting over 500€, I am happy to set up a purchasing plan with you. I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit up front which puts the painting on hold for you. You then have 2 months to pay the remaining balance in either 1 or 2 payments. Please contact me if you are interested in this option.

SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS

Shipping
Shipping costs are NOT included in the price of your artwork. I will calculate an approximate cost upon purchase and send a separate invoice. For information, smaller paintings or those on paper often cost around 35€ to ship to destinations outside of the EU. This includes insurance. Larger paintings and those on stretched canvas are obviously more expensive.

Once payment is received, I do my best to ship your purchase out as soon as possible and will keep you informed of its shipping date. I strive to recycle shipping materials whenever possible. Please do not be shocked at some of the packaging! Great care has still been taken even though the outside package may look a bit used.

Depending on the size and weight of your purchase as well as the country of destination, I use La Poste (the French postal system), Colissimo, or UPS in most circumstances. I will provide you with a tracking number once your purchase has been shipped. Please do allow time for delivery.

Please do note: at the moment shipping costs can vary significantly due to current world situations, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.

Customs Duties

Overseas shipments (outside of the EU) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer's expense. I have no control over these charges and cannot accept responsibility for additional fees. Thank you for your understanding.

WHAT ABOUT RETURNS

I want you to be thrilled with your new artwork so I offer a return agreement.

What if I'm not satisfied?

If a painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service (or comparable if not available in your region) it was sent to you. When the piece has been safely received and in its original state, I will refund your payment within 14 days.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me as soon as possible and within 7 days.  Please be sure to photograph the piece as well as the packaging. If packaging looks suspicious before you open it, it's a good idea to photograph this just in case.
